Meet Ashley

Ashley Altman is a Certified Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in mental health and addiction treatment. She has degrees from The Ohio State University and the Catholic University of America  (CUA). She has worked a staff nurse, hospitalist, unit director and Director of Nursing at a number of psychiatric hospitals in Northern Virginia as well as in Ohio. She has also taught nursing at the undergraduate and graduate level at CUA as well as the University of Cincinnati. Since 2017, she has been an outpatient nurse practitioner in a variety of settings.

Nurse practitioners are nurses with graduate education and advanced clinical experience and can assess, diagnose, and prescribe. Nurse practitioners utilize the latest in research and evidence based 
practice. NP Altman has a passion for looking at each person as an individual as well as within their family and larger community, and works to find a treatment plan that is patient-driven for each person's unique needs.

NP Altman is the spouse of a Coast Guard veteran, local law enforcement officer, and former K-9 handler. She is also a mom to three kids and three dogs. In addition to her work as a nurse practitioner, she also 
serves on the Board of Directors for the national non-profit organization, Project K-9 Hero. She enjoys spending time with family, especially at the lake, as well as cheering on Cincinnati's sports teams.

She is licensed in Ohio and can see patients 13 and older for all mental 
health needs, via telehealth or in person in West Chester.
